Christmas Countdown
So we are once again at the official countdown 'til the jolly man visits with gifts galore. I hope everyone has a great day on Friday, eats way too much and opens ridiculous amounts of presents!!
I want to thank everyone that dropped by Flirty Bird over the past year, be it twitter, facebook, the site, or this little birdy blog! It has been so much fun and I have enjoyed every minute of it.
I have made some lovely virtual friends this year and want to especially thank luvlee, the paper sweet , thula thula, trifle, style me gorgeous, webnovation and ouch for lovely emails, oooddles of help and support!
I hope you all join in the fun in 2010, I already have some great promotional ideas underway for the new year so stay tuned to receive discounts, free products and savings on postage costs.

I have been brainstorming now for a while and have decided to giveaway 2 prizes!
The first is a drawing comp for the little ones....

Finland
A rather large parcel will be on its way to Finland in the next few days and I am very happy to announce that this parcel will be delivered to our new distributor. The Paper Is Sweet...
Some of you might remember my pretty customer Penny. Since Penny's mum, Veronica, purchased her first accessories from me a while back now we have chatted quite often via email.
Veronica talked about a passion for creating things with paper and how she would like to start a business that allowed her to pursue that passion.....
I am happy to say that she took the plunge and is in the process of setting up the paper sweet which will launch early 2010.
Yesterday I arrived home to to a lovely parcel from Veronica and have to say, keep an eye out for Veronica's products, they are a true delight. I took some shots of them to show you....

First Pigtails!
Scarlett wore pigtails for the fist time today and I just had to get photos of this momentous occasion!
(Please ignore the fact that they are boring old elastics and not Flirty Bird accessories!! This will come now that I know that she is happy to leave them in...)
She walks around feeling so important and loves the fuss that we all make, even Fletcher was calling her a pretty girl.

Flirty Bird Stand
Very very excited to finally have some accessory stands made for my Indonesia Retailers. It has been a very long process but between some design work here in Australia and some construction work in Singapore through my distributor, they have finally arrived for her to send them off to Jakarta.
It is a bird cage and I love it, I would love to see another photo of one full of goodies!!

Clips Ahoy!
I have a lovely group of fans on facebook that get so excited at the words - baby clip - I have never really offered a huge range of these purely due to lack of time. I have a few in the shop right now but they have nearly sold out so I have been working on quite a few to give little bubbies with fine hair lots of options too!Working on the new range has been so exciting. I now have more time to enjoy creating new
products thanks to my new website which has allowed me to finally feel organised for the first time since starting Flirty Bird.
Whilst organising some of my photos I came across a photo of one of my first baby clips (a smaller version of the popular button clips in the shop now) The good news that they inspired me and will be available again very soon!
(Little Scarlett couldn't even sit up, time goes too quickly!)

What a productive day I have had today. I am happy to say that the Christmas range is available right now! To make it easy to find all designs on the one page all you need to do is seach 'christmas' and waaa laaaa they will magically appear before your eyes!
I am happy to say that the Christmas baubles that where offered last year are back to make gift wrapping easy. All you need to add one to your order put the accessories in and hanging it on the tree. Your little one will squeal with delight when they see the goodies hanging from the tree!

Judy at Bright Spark toys has a received a great collection of Flirty Bird items this week including some of the new range of ribbon headbands (which have been so popular that they have nearly sold out already!)

New Stockist
A little parcel will be on its way to ele-bahaant very soon, a very groovy online children's store right here in Australia.

I just love the store's name and always wondered where it came from, I found out today that it is how Melissa's (The owner) husband pronounced Elephant as a small child, very cute indeed!
